Oh, on our way down to the National Cowboy Symposium in Lubbock last September, we drove into Amarillo
to visit some friends there. And who should be on hand to give us a big Texas/cowboy welcome but . . . .

. . . Cowboy Ron

. . . Cowboy Ronald McDonald, to be exact.

Part of the fun we have at the annual National Cowboy Symposium & Celebration
in Lubbock is in seeing friends that we often don't get to see any other time
during the year. Shown here are Gail T. Burton (Benton, Arkansas), Stan Paregien
(Edmond, OK), Dennis Gaines (Kerville, TX), Laverne "Straw" Berry (Cordell, OK)
and Biscuits O'Bryan (San Angelo, TX). Photo by Peggy Paregien, copyrighted 2011.
